CEO takes the plunge for St Rocco's

Warrington-based MukAway commits to raising vital funds through year-long programme of charity events
MukAway, the construction industry's leading material matching platform, last year announced a three-year partnership with St Rocco's Hospice to support the vital care they provide across Warrington and the surrounding communities.
We'll be supporting St Rocco's through a packed calendar of fundraising events throughout 2026 and beyond.
The fundraising year kicks off with a bang on Friday 10th April 2026, when MukAway CEO Fraser Linaker will take part in a tandem skydive to raise funds for the hospice.
"St Rocco's does incredible work in our community," said Fraser.
"As a Warrington business, we wanted to support an organisation that makes a real difference to people's lives when they need it most. The skydive is just the start – we've got a full year of events planned and we're encouraging our team, clients, and the wider construction community to get involved."
Following the CEO skydive, MukAway will be supporting a range of events throughout 2026, including:
Saturday 13th June 2026 – Family Snowdon Climb
The MukAway team will be tackling Wales' highest peak in a family-friendly fundraising challenge.
Sunday 26th July 2026 – Dragon Boat Race
MukAway will be fielding some team members for this exciting water-based challenge.
Sunday 20th September 2026 – St Rocco's Running Festival
Runners of all abilities are invited to join MukAway in supporting the hospice.
Sunday 29th November 2026 – Strictly St Rocco's
The year concludes with a glamorous evening of dance and fundraising.
Whether it's taking part in one of the events, sponsoring the team, or making a donation, every contribution helps St Rocco's continue their vital work.
Gemma Linaker, MukAway's Corporate Social Responsibility Director, said: "We have been working hard behind the scenes with St Rocco's and the first of our fundraising events is coming soon as our CEO jumps out of a plane!
"We wanted to do something bold and daring and we came up with this idea together with Liam at St Rocco's and we certainly think it will make a big statement as we help raise vitals funds for the hospice."
