Keepmoat East Midlands and MCI Developments join MukAway

MukAway has announced that Keepmoat East Midlands and MCI Developments, both part of the Keepmoat group, one of the UK's leading partnerships housebuilders, have signed up to the platform, with full team onboarding scheduled for June 2026.

The addition of Keepmoat East Midlands and MCI Developments represents a significant double signing for MukAway and a powerful endorsement of the platform from two businesses operating at serious scale within the UK housebuilding sector.

Keepmoat East Midlands will be the first of ten divisions that MukAway is hoping to work with.

Both the East Midlands and MCI will have access to MukAway's full platform capability, including Direct Material Transfer between sites, Merchant Waste Acquisition for classified waste material, and the Merchant Product Sale function.

This enables them to directly procure processed aggregates, recycled stone, sand fill and recycled MOT through the platform.

Through MukAway, all transactions are documented, fully auditable and stored for a minimum of ten years, providing both businesses with a complete and compliant material trail across every project.

With team onboarding taking place in June, both Keepmoat East Midlands and MCI Developments will be fully operational on the platform ahead of the second half of the year – potentially the busiest period for material transactions, positioning them to maximise the commercial, compliance and sustainability benefits of MukAway across their active site portfolios.

Fraser Linaker, CEO and Founder of MukAway, said: "Having Keepmoat East Midlands and MCI Developments commit to the platform is another landmark moment for MukAway. These are serious businesses, part of one of the most significant housebuilding groups in the country, and their decision to sign up speaks to exactly where the market is heading.

“Material management done properly is no longer a nice to have. It’s a commercial and compliance necessity for any housebuilder operating at this scale. We are looking forward to onboarding both teams in June and seeing the platform work hard for them from day one. We know this will work for them, and we’ll then look forward to demonstrating the commercial savings and ESG gains to their wider group."

Stuart Parker, Commercial Manager at Keepmoat East Midlands, said: "At Keepmoat, we're focused on embedding smarter, more sustainable ways of working into the core of our operations. Material management has long been a missed opportunity - both commercially and environmentally.

“What MukAway brings is a scalable, data-led approach that turns surplus into resource, connecting sites and unlocking value across the supply chain. I'm looking forward to how this partnership can develop in the future."

Peter Farnworth of MCI Developments said: "As a specialist affordable housing developer operating across the North West and beyond, the way we manage material on our sites has a direct impact on our commercial performance and our sustainability commitments.

“MukAway gives us a single, transparent platform to do that properly. From surplus soil off site through to recycled aggregates back in. This is a significant step forward for our business and we are committed to making the most of what the platform offers. June can't come soon enough."

MukAway is a national finalist at the NCE Awards 2026, has been named among North West Business Insider's Most Exciting Companies of 2026, is shortlisted for the UK StartUp Awards and recently presented at the Home Builders Federation SME Developer Seminar in London. It is edging closer to 1000 sites that are ‘live’ on the platform.
