M&J Evans Join the MukAway Material Revolution

Leading national groundworks contractor M&J Evans has signed up to the MukAway platform, joining a growing network of construction companies committed to collaborative material management and sustainable construction practices.
The deal marks another significant milestone for MukAway, the innovative platform that connects construction sites to facilitate the transfer of clean inert materials between projects.
MukAway have been speaking with M&J for some time about their efforts in reducing landfill waste, cutting costs, and lowering carbon emissions across the supply chain.
The deal was secured with influential support from Stephen Newton, MukAway's newly appointed Technical Manager. With 20 years of civil engineering experience, Stephen played a key role in demonstrating the technical and commercial value of the platform to the M&J Evans team during negotiations.
Lee Kelly, Commercial Director at M&J Evans, explained the decision. He said: "We've been keeping a close eye on the MukAway platform, and the time has come for groundworkers to start working collaboratively for mutual benefit. MukAway not only opens the door to material matching opportunities that we would never previously have visibility of, it also creates direct dialogue with clients we are not currently working with.
"That in itself is powerful, because today's successful material transfer could become tomorrow's tender opportunity. By moving clean inert materials between sites instead of sending them to landfill, we are reducing cost, reducing carbon, and strengthening relationships across the supply chain.
"This is exactly the kind of practical collaboration our industry needs as we move towards smarter, more sustainable construction practices where efficiency, compliance and environmental responsibility go hand in hand."
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, welcomed the partnership.
He added: "We're delighted to have M&J Evans join the MukAway community. Lee and his team understand that the future of groundworks isn't just about moving material - it's about moving it smarter.
“Their commitment to collaborative working and sustainable practices aligns perfectly with what we're building here. This partnership represents exactly the kind of forward-thinking approach that's transforming how our industry operates. M&J are a household name across the country and this is why their involvement in MukAway is a serious statement to the market."
MukAway continues to grow its network of construction companies committed to reducing waste, improving efficiency, and building a more sustainable future for the industry. If you're a key decision maker in your business, please get in touch with us at info@mukaway.com
