MukAway.com Platform Goes Live

Experienced Managing Director and Commercial Director Fraser Linaker hits the green button on the UK’s first digital material matching platform.
MukAway.com, the innovative construction spoil management matching platform, today announces the official launch of its digital system, providing housebuilders, contractors, and groundworkers with real-time solutions to one of the industry’s most persistent cost challenges.
The platform, developed by construction veterans with over 40 years of combined industry experience, addresses the spoil management issues that frequently dominate Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) meetings across the sector, leading to significant project cost overruns and operational inefficiencies.
MukAway is also tackling sustainability and ESG challenges that are now front and centre of board meetings across the country — particularly as the Labour Government considers a landfill tax that has been in consultation since the summer.
Already, several of the UK’s biggest housebuilders have signed up to the platform prior to launch, including Vistry, Barratt Homes, Bellway, Salboy, and David Wilson Homes – a testament to the critical need MukAway addresses in the construction sector.
Founded on Real-World Expertise
Founded by Fraser Linaker (CEO), with operational support from Ian Cheveau (Business Development Director), MukAway leverages deep expertise spanning housebuilding, civil engineering, and comprehensive spoil management from land acquisition through to project delivery and close-out.
Operating from their new headquarters at Chadwick House, Birchwood Park, Warrington – the epicentre of housebuilding in the North West – the team is strategically positioned to serve the region’s major construction players.
And they are not stopping there, having already attracted interest from several construction groups representing the full length and breadth of the UK.
CEO Fraser Linaker on the Launch
“This is a pivotal moment for MukAway and, more importantly, for the construction industry. For too long, spoil management has been the hidden drain on project profitability – the issue that repeatedly surfaces in CVR meetings but never gets properly resolved.
Having spent 12 years at David Wilson Homes here in Birchwood Park, I’ve sat in those meetings. I’ve seen the frustrations and the financial impact when spoil management goes wrong. Since then, I’ve gained an in-depth understanding of spoil management across the full lifecycle of a development – from land acquisition and groundworks appointments through to delivery and close-out.
MukAway isn’t just another piece of construction software – it’s a solution built from decades of real-world experience tackling these exact challenges. We know what housebuilders, contractors, and groundworkers need because we’ve been in their shoes.
Today’s launch represents our commitment to transforming how the industry manages spoil both on and off-site. The fact that major housebuilders were queuing up to sign on before we even went live tells us we’re solving a real problem. Now, we’re ready to deliver that solution at scale.”
Addressing Critical Industry Challenges
MukAway’s platform provides digital solutions that:
Reduce spoil management costs and eliminate chronic CVR overruns
Contribute to ESG and Net Carbon Zero targets
Improve collaboration between housebuilders, contractors, and groundworkers
Deliver transparency across the full spoil management lifecycle
Provide real-time data and reporting for informed decision-making
Support sustainable construction practices through efficient resource management
