MukAway attends Cheshire Sustainable Growth Breakfast

MukAway attended the Insider Cheshire Sustainable Growth Breakfast at Chowley Oak Business Park yesterday, joining regional businesses to discuss their journeys toward net zero and sustainable operations.
The breakfast event brought together companies from across Cheshire and Warrington to exchange insights and experiences on sustainability initiatives. Attendees shared practical approaches to reducing their carbon footprint and the challenges they’ve encountered in their respective sectors.
The venue at Chowley Oak Business Park provided an opportunity for face-to-face networking among businesses committed to environmental responsibility.
MukAway’s platform now connects 30 businesses working toward more sustainable construction practices, and this event was a key one to share our initial launch and success after only a week of the platform going ‘live’.
Our company reports tangible results across two key metrics: financial savings for commercial departments through efficient resource management, and carbon emission reductions through circular reuse of materials.
Ian Cheveau – Business Development Director and ESG Lead, MukAway
“What struck me most was how many companies are moving beyond talking about sustainability to implementing real, measurable changes. At MukAway, we’re proving that reducing carbon in construction doesn’t mean compromising on value for our customers. Our platform is delivering both environmental impact and commercial benefits, and with 30 businesses now on board, we’re building momentum for genuine circular economy practices in the construction sector.”
The event represents MukAway’s second sustainability-focused gathering in less than a week, as we develop our comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) plan.
Fraser Linaker – CEO, MukAway
“We’re committed to keeping our subscribers fully informed and engaged as we shape our ESG strategy. This isn’t just about MukAway’s journey and what we are doing in the community, it’s about enabling all our partners to achieve their sustainability goals while maintaining strong business performance.”
Our company’s focus on circular construction aims to keep materials in use longer, reducing waste and the carbon intensity of building projects.
