MukAway Takes Centre Stage at HBF's Inaugural SME Developer Seminar
Back in April, MukAway CEO Fraser Linaker and Business Development and Marketing Director Ian Cheveau travelled to London to present at the Home Builders Federation's inaugural SME Developer Seminar - the first event of its kind run by the HBF specifically for SME housebuilders.
Over 70 SME home builders gathered at the seminar to hear from an impressive line-up of service providers to the industry, with the event providing attendees with exclusive insight and connections to organisations operating in the SME home building space.
Over the course of the day, participants heard from speakers providing key services across the industry. Neil Jefferson, Chief Executive at HBF, opened the seminar with a reflection on the last year and how key policy events and wider economic pressures have affected SMEs operating in the home building sector.
MukAway was invited to present alongside a carefully selected group of industry specialists including development finance providers MSP Capital, Pluto Finance and Paragon Development Finance, with MukAway presenting on developers' options in relation to waste management, sustainability and managing costs.
Fraser Linaker and Ian Cheveau delivered a presentation covering the full MukAway platform. So, from soil classification and direct material transfer through to Merchant Waste Acquisition and the newly launched Merchant Product Sale function.
The room was filled with exactly the decision-makers MukAway exists to serve: SME housebuilders actively managing multiple live sites, facing cost pressure, compliance obligations and sustainability targets simultaneously.
The response was immediate. The conversations that followed were even better. A number of delegates signed up to the MukAway platform on the back of the presentation, having been impressed - in their own words -by the system, the team's construction knowledge and the energy in the room.
