1.3million m3 of inert top soil and subsoil on MukAway's system

1.3 million cubic metres of clean inert subsoil and topsoil. Registered on the MukAway platform. Transacting between donor and receiver sites across the UK.
Read that again.
That number wasn't even on the plan a week ago.
MukAway had set out to announce a milestone of one million cubic metres of material listings registered on the platform. Within a week of planning that announcement, the number had grown to 1.3 million. Eight more companies are still to be onboarded in the next two weeks.
The trend is only going one way.
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said: "We have hit a massive milestone for the company. The plan was to announce one million cubic metres but within a week it had increased to 1.3 million.
"The potential for the UK construction industry is unbelievable and as we start to move into the major infrastructure and energy sectors these quantities will go up exponentially.
"A simple 1,000m3 haulage is saving companies an average of £20,000 through using our platform. We have the stats to back that up.
"Here's the catch. The platform works when you plan. Forecast your spoil movement. Get your material listed early. The savings are there for any company willing to think ahead.
"£20,000 saved on a single 1,000m3 move. The commercial and environmental case is undeniable."
What 1.3 million cubic metres means in practice
This isn't just a number on a dashboard. Every cubic metre registered on the MukAway platform represents material that has been classified, listed and matched - moving compliantly between construction sites rather than going to landfill.
The cost savings are significant.
The environmental benefits are measurable. And the companies using the platform are only beginning to understand the scale of what's possible when spoil movement is planned in advance rather than managed reactively.
As MukAway expands into major infrastructure and energy sectors, volumes will increase exponentially. The platform that handled 1.3 million cubic metres this month is the same platform that will handle multiples of that figure within the next twelve months.
1.3 million m³ and counting.
