Allison Homes throws its weight behind MukAway across three regional businesses

MukAway's mission to transform material management across the UK housebuilding sector has received another significant boost after Allison Homes committed to rolling out the platform across its Central & East, East Midlands and South West businesses.
The agreement will see Allison Homes join a growing network of housebuilders, developers, contractors, merchants and logistics providers using MukAway to unlock value from surplus materials, reduce waste and create more sustainable construction projects.
As pressure continues to mount on the industry to improve efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and maximise the value of existing resources, housebuilders are increasingly turning to collaborative solutions that deliver both commercial and environmental benefits.
By adopting MukAway across three regional businesses, Allison Homes will gain access not only to the platform's material exchange capabilities and a brand new ESG dashboard, but also to an expanding ecosystem of merchants, contractors, developers and haulage partners.
This connected network creates opportunities to source materials more efficiently, redistribute surplus resources and identify commercial value that may otherwise be lost through traditional waste disposal routes.
Andrew Robson, Group Commercial Director at Allison Homes, said: "At Allison Homes we are always looking for ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste and deliver greater value across our developments.
"What attracted us to MukAway was not simply the technology, but the network that sits behind it. The opportunity to connect with merchants, contractors and otherorganisations across the industry creates genuine potential to reduce waste, improve sustainability, and unlock commercial benefits across our operations.
"As an industry, we need to think differently about material management, and MukAwayprovides a practical solution that helps make that possible. We look forward to implementing the platform across our Central & East, East Midlands and South West businesses."
The construction industry generates millions of tonnes of surplus materials every year, much of which has traditionally been viewed as waste.
MukAway was created to challenge that mindset and change behaviours within the industry by connecting organisations with excess materials to businesses that can utilise them elsewhere, transforming what was once a cost into a valuable resource.
Fraser Linaker, Chief Executive Officer of MukAway said Allison Homes' commitment is further evidence that the industry is embracing a more connected and collaborative approach to construction material management.
Fraser said: "Every new organisation that joins MukAway strengthens the network andcreates more opportunities for everyone already using it.
"Allison Homes immediately understood that this isn't just about moving materials from one site to another. It's about creating a connected construction supply chain where housebuilders, contractors, merchants, developers and logistics providers can work together to unlock greater value from materials that might otherwise be wasted.
"The more participants we bring together, the more opportunities we create. That's how we reduce waste, lower costs, improve sustainability, and deliver meaningful commercial benefits across the industry.
"We're delighted to welcome Allison Homes to the platform and look forward to supporting their teams across Central & East, East Midlands and South West as they become part of the growing MukAway community."
The agreement continues a period of strong growth for MukAway as an increasing number of housebuilders, developers and supply chain partners adopt the platform as part of their wider commercial, operational and ESG strategies.
As the network continues to expand, so too does the opportunity for the industry to reduce waste, retain value within the supply chain and build a more sustainable future for construction.
