Group Deals come into MukAway

MukAway has secured a series of group agreements with national housebuilders, marking a major step forward in the growth of the digital materials-sharing platform.
The deals, which have been months in development and announced shortly, will see regional offices from major housebuilders brought onto the MukAway system, significantly expanding the platform’s national footprint.
MukAway is currently the only end-to-end digital platform in the UK designed to facilitate the sharing of subsoils, topsoils and aggregates between construction sites, helping contractors reduce waste, improve logistics and minimise landfill.
The latest agreements come after a period of rapid growth for the business, with the team spending the past three months onboarding new customers, bringing their operational teams onto the platform and embedding MukAway into day-to-day site processes.
As more companies and sites join the platform, MukAway says the network effect is beginning to accelerate, creating greater visibility across the sector and improving the efficiency of material movements between projects.
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said the latest developments represent a key milestone for the platform.
“These group deals have been months in the making and it’s incredibly exciting to see them finally coming to fruition,” said Linaker.
“We always believed that once major housebuilders began putting their regional offices onto the platform, the momentum would build quickly.
“We’re now starting to see that happen, with more companies recognising the benefits of a connected system for sharing materials between sites.”
MukAway says the latest partnerships will further strengthen what is already becoming a dense national map of companies and live construction sites connected through the platform.
By linking contractors, developers and housebuilders through a single system, MukAway aims to improve collaboration across the supply chain while helping the industry reduce unnecessary waste movements.
Linaker added that further announcements are expected in the coming months as the platform continues to expand.
“There’s a lot more to come. We’ll be announcing who’s backing the MukAway system and bringing their regional teams onto the platform very soon,” he said.
“It’s an exciting time for the business, and it’s all happening just in time for the spring construction season.”
